Clouds
Airplane clouds
Storytelling now
Lost my mind
Wrote a vow to never tell the time

Climbed around
Saw the red-eyed zombies having found
Alibis
In the sky from people passing time

They say wouldn’t it be nice if someone
Closed that window
Sunrise shoots glares at my phone
And just as I got comfortable
The sky threw that wind at us
Now I’m stuck here wide awake

Candlelight
Bringing shapes to a dazzling life
I’ve gone mad
By birthright, they were flower clad

Pocket’s bright
You stare satisfied
You can change your mind
Butterflies make new lives all the time

Wouldn’t it be nice to wake up
To the light of day knowing
That you’re still on time
Remembering that life is as sweet
As your mind is
And meaning is found in the moment

Sorry to interrupt
But it might be time you put your feet
Into a cold creek
And splash around like you're free

Welcome home
All you dreaming souls
